Budapest, [16 December
2025] – MVM ONEnergy has entered into a five-year liquefied
natural gas (LNG) procurement agreement with U.S.-based energy company Chevron,
covering the delivery of approximately 2 billion cubic meters of natural gas in
total. Deliveries under the agreement are scheduled to commence on 1 October
2027.
The transaction supports
Hungary’s energy supply security. The agreement contributes to ensuring
reliable gas supply for Hungarian households served under the universal service
framework.
Through this cooperation with Chevron, MVM ONEnergy strengthens its supply portfolio with a trusted international partner, supporting the enhancement of energy security and the achievement of diversification objectives.
